robotics competition

Our school has competed successfully over the years in many local and regional competitions.

The annual local Science or Social Studies fair gives opportunity for students in all grade levels to perform in depth research on a topic of their choosing and prepare a creative original exhibit of their findings.

WPBJA students diligently prepare to compete with students from area SDA schools in the annual South Florida Regional Spelling Bee. With pride and hard work, our 8th graders in the 2018 – 2019 school year proudly won the first, second and third place trophies for their grade level. In the 2019-2020 competition they graciously stood up to our record and retained first place.

In 2018-2019 the WPBJA Robotics Team entered its first Robotics League Competition. The team, comprised of students in grades 3-8 proudly walked away with the Innovation Award.

With equal success, our chimes group enjoyed the opportunity to meet other students and explore their music talents at the annual Music Fest in Orlando.

Participating in these activities not only brings students the excitement of friendly competition and building interpersonal relationships, they empower our students to engage in innovative problem-solving, enhance their creativity, and build priceless leadership skills.
