Education at West Palm Beach Jr. Academy strives to be affordable for every family. We accept a variety of scholarships that make education affordable and pay for nearly all of the education expenses.
Accepted Scholarships: West Palm Beach Jr. Academy accepts the following scholarships: Florida Tax Credit (Step Up For Students SUFS or FTC), Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES), McKay Scholarship, Academic Achievement Accessible Scholarship (AAA). Please enquire with our school to acquire information in qualifications and how/ where to sign up for these scholarships.
Application Fee: A yearly established fee is due at the time of submitting an initial application to WPBJA. Application fees are not required for returning students. Application fees pay for the MAPS testing and processing of student applications by the administrative office and are non-refundable.
Registration Fee: A yearly established fee is due at the time of registration. This fee can only be paid for students who are accepted into our school. Students who re-enroll before the March 31 deadline each year will be discounted from the Registration Fee. Registration Fees are non-refundable.
Textbook Fee: A yearly established fee is due at the time of registration. This fee will cover yearly rent for student textbooks, electronic devices, software subscriptions, and library subscriptions for the year. This fee is non-refundable. At the time of check-out to students of electronic devices, lockers, and textbooks, students must record the condition of all items in a textbook contract at the time of receipt. Items returned damaged further than the condition received will be billed against students at 50% of the replacement cost. Lost and destroyed items will be billed at 100% of the replacement cost.
Tuition: This covers all other fees associated with the cost of learning, including but not limited to classroom instruction, learning resources, care and maintenance of the learning environment, and school personal.
Graduation Fees: A graduation fee is due for all students in 8th grade, Kindergarten, and Pre-Kindergarten. This fee will cover all expenses related to graduation including but not limited to a diploma, cap and gown, honor cords, parent and school graduation gifts, and graduation ceremony costs.

Tuition Discounts
When multiple discounts may apply, only the highest discount will be applied towards tuition
Annual Advance Tuition: 10% discount if fall tuition is paid for the first week of school.
SDA Church members will receive a discount. Please see the treasurer for qualifications.
Family Tuition Discounts
When two or more children are enrolled, the following discounts apply:
2nd child discount: 5% of fully paid tuition
Each additional child: 10% of fully paid tuition
Registration Credits
- Credit from the registration fee if a family brings in 1-2 new students who stay for a semester- Registration fee will be credited back at 50% off of the total family registration bill.
- Credit from the registration fee if a family brings in 3 or more new students who stay for a semester- Registration fee will be credited back at 100% off of the total family registration bill.
Checks
Checks being applied to a student’s account should be made payable to West Palm Beach Junior Academy. The student’s name should be written in the memo area to ensure credit to the proper account.
Credit/Debit Card Charges
If paying with a credit card, there will be a 1.8% fee per transaction.
Previous Balance
Any account balance for the previous school year must be settled before a student is permitted to enroll for the current school year. Any delinquent accounts remaining from a brother or sister who attended WPBJA must also be settled before another family member is admitted.
Account Status
The financial sponsor is expected to keep the account current at all times. The student must obtain financial clearance at the following:
- Field Trips
- In advance of graduation
Transcript or Diploma
Transcripts, cumulative records, or diplomas cannot be issued unless the account for the student has been paid in full.
